Industry surveys, and our own conversations, show that employers are finding it increasingly difficult to source suitable candidates, whether contract or permanent. It is vital to cast the recruitment net as widely, and creatively, as possible, but this requires in-depth industry knowledge to ensure the demands of the role are met.

ENG Bauen provides the necessary expertise, as resourcing specialists in the following sectors.

Upstream, Downstream, Midstream, LNG, Power Generation, Nuclear Power, Renewable Energy

Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Biomedical technologies & devices

FMCG, Process, Automotive, Aerospace, Food

Rail, Highways, Build, Geotechnical, Marine, Water, Telecommunication

Major CAPEX Project

ENG Bauen was selected as a resourcing partner for a Global Projects and Engineering function based in the USA. This shared-service organisation serves many manufacturing locations and businesses and has an estimated annual spend of over $1billion.

Multi-lingual personnel in the USA, Europe and Southern Asia develop and execute major capital projects on a global basis. These typically range from $250,000 to over $2.5 billion and occur in vastly differing cultural, commercial and regulatory environments. One of our first assignments with the organisation was to manage resourcing for a large plant expansion programme in the United States. Our tasks included:

Search and selection of staff and contractors from concept development through to construction. We secured qualified engineers for locations in the USA, United Kingdom and Germany to oversee the FEED, Detailed Design and Construction. Mobilisation of Project Engineers in the USA and Germany to the project location, taking care of all the logistical support and ensuring consistent resourcing policy and practice throughout the project. Identification of local Construction and Commissioning teams, supported with expatriate sourced workers, to complete the post-design phase.

ENG Bauen successfully deployed a range of highly qualified contractors to support the owner’s team in delivering this project.

Ethylene Cracker Debottlenecking Project

We work with one of the world’s largest plastics, chemical and refining companies

The project was an $800m expansion of the ethylene production facility in Louisiana. The client was well positioned to benefit from the shale gas development in the US to restore a competitive model of petrochemical activities. The company opted for organic growth in investing in a series of debottlenecking projects at its existing chemical complexes.

We supported the project director in providing project staffing solutions across the execution phase of multiple projects, this included Senior Construction Managers to multi-disciplined field engineering talent.

Underground Station Capacity Upgrade Project

We work with one of the worlds most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies. This £565m project includes the design and construction of a new tunnel, platforms, station entrance, escalators, ticket halls and passenger lifts.

Given the complexity and uniqueness of this project the Project Director required a trusted construction management team to deliver this project on-time and to budget. Using our talent mapping expertise and extensive networks in the transportation field we were able to identify an industry leading team to support our client’s needs. We successfully supplied a management team that are currently providing construction oversight to multi-disciplined contractors to ensure they achieve their project goals.
